The race to 1000 challenge I started with Tom martin from https://www.youtube.com/user/FAQTubeO… Up to 265 subscribers which may not be huge but it’s an arrow going up after being stagnant for years. 🙂 Its been a slow progress as I chart the subscriber rate to my channel https://www.youtube.com/user/watzzupsport, I would like to think some of the content we have there is interesting yet it is not obviously something that attracts a lot of viewers. Race to 1000 subscribers challenge update 2   It was not the best week by way of subscriber count, though it has been a good month in the product creation side. I kept a consistant upload schedule and had a keyword string I am working on. The more I explore the role of analytics in the content creation and audience retention process the interesting the data is. Not that I understand how it all works seamlessly. Shout out to Brian Johnson https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZbvKhLl-I7UomMugaO24fw He is putting out some great content on getting traction as a new channel

I have got to really appreciate what Youtube analytics can show you and how to best use the data. It is hard to do a lot without some traffic numbers but as soon as you get something to work with you can start to get a feel for what to do next. […]

Right now, watching video—whether on TV or online—is the single most important media activity. There are only two things we do more than watch video: sleep and work. More than five hours a day are spent watching video, and those hours fuel a $200 Billion economy, with the majority of […]
