I know the cynics will be saying that a blog post about content creators piggybacking off  of current new buzz stories whilst embedding the same video content is a blatant play at playing the same game…. and so that is is, but it is still awesome statistics that go with it.

The new star wars ‘The Force Awakens’ second trailer  amassed 88M Video Views for  #TheForceAwakens  in Just 4 Days

These are serious numbers that prove trending topics are a great way to boost the profile of primary/secondary channels, regardless of the content you usually discuss.

Everyone from Phil deFranco, to America’s Funniest Home Videos, to Nerdist created video content around the Star Wars trailer

[svpVideo v=2][svpVideoReveal2 v=2]Taking all video uploads relating to ‘Star Wars’ into account for the last 7 days, the public’s appetite for video content relating to one of the world’s most loved film franchises has generated over 180 million views – and the numbers continue to rise. Lucasfilm and visionary director J.J. Abrams join forces to take you back again to a galaxy far, far away as “Star Wars” returns to the big screen with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

What do us mere mortals do to get our content seen 🙂

[svpVideoReveal4 v=4] Thats why the advice from the crew over   https://tubularlabs.com    is good advice to follow ” That’s why it is so important for marketers who wish to capitalize on trends to trust the content creators who live and breathe the video space. Any delay in production and the buzz around a trend could be quickly lost.”
